Investors wanting financing should move fast!


Investors in the real estate market that have been cracked down on hard.  Freddie Mac made an announcement I published earlier on this blog that will limit investors to only 4 financed properties in the near future. (go to the mortgage tag to view other posts) Fannie Mae will likely follow suit soon in limiting investor residential mortgage debt.  While many limitations have already been put in place as to loan to value and down payment requirements, limiting properties that can be financed and or refinanced will make things far more difficult for investors in residential real estate in the future.  The best solution is to act fast and protect yourself from future needs to refinance by acquiring only 30 fixed mortgages and evaluating properties for positive cash flow long term.  Having a great real estate professional and loan consultant can help you do that, and I happen to know one or two.
